The church has evolved from what it originally started out as, to what it is today, so much so that the one might not even recognize the other. In fact, what was originally called Christianity would now be referred to as Christendom. What’s the difference? In this week’s podcast we have an expert to answer that very question. 

Dr. Gerald L. Sittser is a professor of theology at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington who specializes in the history of Christianity, Christian spirituality, and religion in American public life. He’s authored a number of books, one of which Pastor Kelly highlights in taking a deeper look at how the church began, and what purpose it serves today.
